Winner of the Douala International Schools Girls Basketball Competition
The International Schools Basketball Tournament involved all the international schools in Cameroon.
The female basketball team of The Bridge International School shot better than 70 percent from the floor in their final game with an 8 – 0 win against the Russian International School “Galaxy” in the first edition of the International Schools Basketball Tournament at the Guims Sports Academy Logbessou, Douala, Cameroon on Saturday Afternoon.
This came after The Bridge International School outslugged Enko International School in an 8-6 thrilling semi-final which showed a physical side of female basketball never seen before. “From a fan’s standpoint, There was unbelievable shot-making and great defence. High-level talent was on display. Kudos to the players” A fan said.
International Schools Basketball Tournament MVP
The MVP of the tournament emerged from the Bridge International School: Endomba Tyfanie. She racked up 8 points, 2 assists, and 2 rebounds, coupled with an exquisite display of foolproof basketball IQ only meant for prime-time TV.
